Guided Reading- A Little Bit of Winter.

Today we would like you to listen to this story and then complete the comprehension question task and then the activity, telling us about your favourite part of the story. You can find the sheets for this attached at the bottom of the page, in the useful resources section.

A Little Bit of Winter. Guided Reading Story.

Listen Carefully as Ms Cooper reads our story for Guided Reading this morning.

RE. Christianity, Jesus and his friends.

Today we are going to listen to another story from the Bible. Our Story today is about two sisters called Martha and Mary.

Click on the link below to listen to the story. You might want to pause the video to discuss the story and what is happening, with a grown up.

Think carefully about what the message is in the story.

What does Jesus say to Martha? Why does he say this?

What lesson did Martha learn from Jesus?

Think back to the three stories we have listened to, in the last few weeks. They have all shown how Jesus shows friendship towards others.

Can you put the stories in an order? From the easiest story for Jesus to show friendship, to the hardest.

There is a sheet and some pictures from each story to help you, in the useful resources section. Or you can draw your own picture/s and write your response.

To end our afternoon. We thought it might be nice to do some Art. Can you follow this step by step video to create your own Gregosaurus? Don't forget, we would love to see how you get on.
