Starter of the Day Challenge.

Can you remember how to use the  <  > and = signs in Maths?

See if you can work out which sign is needed to complete each number sentence below.

Remember, the crocodile is greedy and likes to eat the bigger number!



Today we are going to continue our work on how the characters in our story might be feeling. Yesterday you had a go at 'Hot Seating'. Today we would like to have a go at recording these ideas in some simple sentences. 

Starter task.

To help you with your writing, start off by making a mind-map of words for each character. This will really help you think of the best adjectives to describe how the characters might be feeling.




Now try putting your best adjective into a sentence. 




Challenge. Can you use the conjunction because to explain why the character is feeling this way? Can you use more than 1 adjective to explain how the character is feeling?


Today we want you to continue with measuring objects and comparing lengths. Today we would like you to find objects and measure them using the same non standard unit of measure. This will help you compare the lengths.

Choose an activity sheet, attached below, to complete about the 4 seasons or make your own seasons picture, labelling the 4 seasons and the months of the year that come in each season. 

By the end of your lesson today you should be able to name the seasons, name the months of the year in each season and show an understanding of how the weather changes in each season and how this affects humans, plants and animals.
